We are happy to announce at Focus Eye Care, P.C., has re-opened for routine and primary care at our normal operating hours. We have implemented some new policies and procedures to ensure that we can resume care in the safest possible manner:
All patients are welcome to come in for comprehensive eye exams, emergencies, follow-ups, or frame selections, but all patients will require an appointment to come in. Our front door will remain locked to the general public without an appointment.
We are limiting contact between patients by reducing the number of patients seen, completing the history portion of the exam over the phone, and asking patients to wait in their car instead of our waiting room.
We are screening every patient for COVID-19 symptoms and exposure before they come into the office to minimize the risk of exposing staff or patients to risk of infection. Patients are asked to call from their car before they come into the office.
Every patient and staff member will also have their temperature taken as soon as they walk in the office.
We will require every patient entering our office to wear a face covering, and we have masks available for you if you do not have your own personal protective equipment. Our staff will don masks and gloves when seeing patients in-office and curbside.
We are continuing to offer curbside service for contact lens and glasses dispensing, adjustment, and repairs.
We have installed breath shields at the front desk and optical desks for enhanced safety.
Telehealth videoconferencing is available for emergencies and medical concerns. Call or email our front desk to arrange an appointment. Frontdesk@Focuseyehealth.Com
You may browse for frames online here (link), and we can do a curbside frame fitting and lens ordering if you already have a valid glasses prescription.
If you need nutritional supplements or eye care supplies, we can dispense them curbside, or you can order them through our Focus E-Store.
